Since 1992, Lake Harbour has dedicated it’s time in optimizing product engineering and production procedure in automotive, transportation, construction, infrastructure industries.

1992 – Founding

Lake Harbour Co. Ltd. (LHC) was founded in Markham, Ontario Canada, with a passion to serve the society with high quality engineering consulting services.

2008 – Mobile Lifter

2008 – Mobile Lifter

LHC provided engineering design and consulting services on developing a mobile lifter to alleviate the workload on cranes. A one-to-one true-size prototype was built and functional, and LHC hence patented the technology.

2008 – High-rise balcony railing shoes

2008 – High-rise balcony railing shoes

LHC designed and supplied new high-rise balcony railing shoes for many condominiums in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. These shoes achieved operation costs reduction while meeting the safety requirment.

2011 – IPS

LHC began its business partnership with IPS, a Vancourver-based company of railway maintenance parts, to improve railway quality in North America.

2017 – Subway Switchbox

2017 – Subway Switchbox

As requested by a client, LHC successfully reverse engineered a subway part for a US subway, while achieving weight and durability optimization. LHC resolved the failure points left by the previous supplier, and improved the manufacturing process and use of materials. The design success developed a strong supplying and trading partnership between LHC and the US public transportation.

2019 – Subway Ground Brush Bracket

2019 – Subway Ground Brush Bracket

As requested by a client, LHC reverse engineered another subway part for a US subway system. The new ground brush bracket design optimized the dimension and material, and hence its application in subway operation. After serving as a engineering designer, LHC became the sole provider of ground brush brackets for a US public transit.

As requested by a client, LHC successfully reverse engineered a part which was designed 50 years ago. The product design success created long-term trading and supplying opportunities with US-based corporations.
