As a science student, working as a Web Marketing Manager in an engineering firm was a great opportunity to explore the industries which I never expected to encounter. The way how Lake Harbour emphasized on team goals before personal benefits, while ensuring they only offer best-quality service for the customers was truly inspirational. On top of that, throughout the 8 weeks of my internship, I was fascinated by the values the company upheld – work is not only about benefits, it is also about joy (this was one of the major takeaways). I was also lucky enough to have a taste of working as a human resources assistant, alongside as a web marketing manager. Under the kind mentoring from my colleagues, the 8 weeks in LHC was incredibly fruitful. This internship equipped myself with experience and skills like no others.
